Schedule: Days 9.50x4 (38 Hours/Week)

Duration: 14 weeks with possible extension

Pay Range: $2,650 - $2,865/Week

Job Overview

• Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with Cath Lab experience for a travel nursing position.
• The role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to surgical patients in a perioperative setting, with responsibilities spanning assessment, clinical care, documentation, patient education, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough and systematic patient assessments across all age groups (Pediatric to Geriatric).
• Deliver competent clinical nursing care, including emergency procedures and use of emergency equipment.
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation of nursing processes and patient progress.
• Uphold professional standards and adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
• Promote patient and family satisfaction by responding professionally and maintaining confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines.
• Follow National Patient Safety Goals, including patient identification protocols and safe transfer techniques.
• Provide individualized care based on surgical procedures and anesthesia types, monitoring patient reactions and understanding.
• Take responsibility for prioritizing and directing patient care within the perioperative team.
• Conduct pre-operative and postoperative assessments and patient/family education.
• Support Pre Admission Testing (PAT) by evaluating orders for appropriateness and completeness.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of critical care experience.
• Active RN license.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
