The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing care to patients while adhering to compliance standards. This candidate should be able to recognize patient needs and prioritize those needs with the needs outlined by physicians.

Responsibilities

• Assure quality care by adhering to standards set by the physicians
• Provide care education to patients in person or over the phone
• Adhere to compliance guidelines throughout processes (OSHA, FDA, HIPAA)

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Professional Nurse with current licensure
• CPR, ACLS, and BCLS Certification
• Knowledge of OSHA, FDA, and HIPAA compliance
• Candidate must be able to lift and position patients on endoscopy stretcher and transport patients

Assignment Details:

• 3x12 hour nights, 645P-715A
• Start date is flexible
• 52 Week assignment available by request.
• Traveler may request anything from 14-52 weeks if they wish to have a contract longer than the standard 13 weeks.
• Unit to be determined by facility need after clinical evaluation.
• ACLS and BLS (AHA) required
• Currently 1:5 ratios for PCU (goal is 1:4)
• All travelers are expected to float as needed within their acuity.
