A certified School Nurse (CSN) or a Registered Nurse (RN) with a waiver and vision/hearing screening certifications is needed to provide essential healthcare services across multiple K-12 school sites in San Diego, CA. This contract position spans the current school year and focuses on supporting students' health needs, particularly those with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct vision and hearing screenings for K-12 students
• Collaborate with educational staff to complete medical documentation for students, especially those with IEPs
• Provide nursing support that ensures compliance with health regulations and district policies
• Travel between multiple school sites within the district as required
• Maintain accurate records of screenings and follow-ups
  
  

Qualifications

• Valid certification as a School Nurse (CSN) OR
• Registered Nurse (RN) with a waiver for the district and certification in vision and hearing screenings
• Experience working in educational settings preferred
