Unit Type: Adaptive Acuity (Med Surg/Tele with PCU crossover)

Start Date: Immediate

License Required: Vermont RN License (or Compact)

About the Role

We’re seeking a highly skilled Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Adaptive Acuity Unit in Vermont. This dynamic 25-bed unit operates with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio, and on occasion, travelers will be required to provide Progressive Care Unit (PCU) level care at a 3:1 ratio. This expectation is non-negotiable and essential to the role.

If you thrive in fast-paced environments, have strong drip and PCU experience, and are ready to float across inpatient units within your scope of practice, we want to hear from you.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of current Med Surg/Tele experience
• PCU experience required
• Drip experience required
• ICU experience strongly preferred
• Charge experience preferred
• Minimum 3 months of previous travel nursing experience (non-negotiable)
• Experience in small critical access facilities preferred
• Must have own vehicle for transportation
• Willingness to float to any inpatient unit as needed
• No RTO (Requested Time Off) will be accepted for this assignment
• Must hold current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA)
• Vermont RN license must be active and uploaded with profile
