We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic Medical-Surgical team in Pocatello, Idaho. This is a full-time opportunity to utilize your nursing skills and expertise to provide high-quality patient care in a supportive and collaborative environment.

As a Med/Surg Registered Nurse, You Will

• Utilize the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation) to deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients according to hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Respond effectively and efficiently to life-threatening situations, implementing appropriate nursing interventions.
• Organize and prioritize patient care delivery, delegating tasks as appropriate and ensuring timely and effective care.
• Deliver direct patient care, including medication administration, wound care, monitoring vital signs, and other necessary treatments.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions and revise the plan of care as needed.
• Communicate effectively and collaboratively with physicians, other healthcare providers, patients, and their families to ensure seamless and coordinated care.
• Document all aspects of patient care accurately and thoroughly in the electronic health record.
• Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Idaho.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Demonstrated ability to apply the nursing process effectively.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Willingness to adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
• Willingness to Travel: Never (this position is based solely in Pocatello, ID).
