A leading healthcare staffing group is currently seeking Nursing Assistants to join its Emergency Response Division in Louisiana. This role offers the opportunity to support rapid statewide deployments in partnership with the Louisiana Department of Health (LDH).

About the Opportunity:

• Shift: Day (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) or Night (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts; flexible assignments
• Deployment Locations: New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Alexandria, Lake Charles, Lafayette, Thibodaux, Hammond, Monroe, Bossier City
• Start Timeline: Ability to deploy within 48 hours of notice
• Setting: Emergency preparedness and disaster response environments

Responsibilities:

• Assisting patients with daily living activities including feeding, bathing, dressing, and toileting
• Supporting patient transfers, ambulation, and mobility needs
• Performing basic wound care and first aid under supervision
• Monitoring and reporting changes in patient condition to licensed staff
• Supporting registration, patient flow, and care delivery in emergency shelters and clinics

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Acute Care, Long-Term Care, Emergency Room, Behavioral Health, Geriatrics, or Pediatrics
• Active, unencumbered CNA certification (Louisiana compliance may be required)
• BLS/CPR certification preferred
• Basic knowledge of patient care and safety procedures
• Ability to follow care plans and clinical instructions
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach

Desired Skills:

• Prior experience in emergency response or disaster relief settings
• Additional certifications or specialty training in patient care
• Strong adaptability in high-pressure environments
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
