A part-time Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in school nursing and educator roles is needed to provide direct care in an early childhood educational setting in Mazeppa, Minnesota. This contract position runs from ASAP through the end of the school year and offers an opportunity to work closely with preschool-aged children in a 1-to-1 care environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and health education to preschool-aged children in a 1:1 setting
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and programming tailored to each child's needs
• Monitor health status, administer medications, and perform nursing assessments as needed
• Collaborate with school staff and families to promote health and safety within the school
• Maintain accurate health records in compliance with regulatory guidelines
• Assist with health screenings and emergency response preparedness
  
  

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure and experience working as a school nurse or RN educator
• Comfort and skill working with young children in a preschool setting
• Ability to develop and manage individualized nursing programs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Dependable and able to work onsite during weekday mornings
  
  

Location and Schedule:

• Position based in Mazeppa, Minnesota 55956
• 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
• Immediate start with contract duration through end of the current school year
  
  

Additional Information

• The RN will primarily provide nursing programming and support during morning hours
• A backup plan for 24-hour availability may be discussed if onsite candidates are unavailable
