Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room

Job Overview

Northside Hospital Duluth is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN for a 13-week travel assignment. This role supports a busy surgical department specializing in orthopedic, bariatric, general, and plastic surgery cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in a multi-specialty OR setting.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure safe and efficient procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and adhere to hospital protocols.
• Participate in holiday coverage as outlined below.
  
  

Requirements

Required:

• Minimum 2 years of recent OR experience
• Active RN license (Georgia or Compact)
• BLS certification
• Experience in ortho, bariatric, general, and plastics procedures
• Must be willing to work 2 major holidays and 1 minor holiday during contract:
• Major Holidays (choose 2 of 3): Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day
• Minor Holidays (choose 1): Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve
• No local candidates within 50 miles
• RTO must be submitted with profile
  

Preferred

• Experience in high-volume surgical settings
• Familiarity with Northside protocols
