Magee Resource Group has partnered with a multi-hospital, not-for-profit system in the Southeast to recruit a Chief Nursing Officer for one of their community hospitals.

This 60-bed hospital is part of a strong regional health system and serves patients across the county and surrounding area. Reporting directly to the Hospital Administrator, the CNO will provide executive nursing leadership across Emergency Services, ICU, Med Surg, and Labor & Delivery. With seven direct reports, including three nurse managers and four house supervisors, the CNO will oversee approximately 70 staff members and play a key role in patient care, staff development, and operational excellence.

The ideal leader will bring stability, visibility, and a collaborative style to strengthen nursing operations and ensure continuity of care. Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required, master’s preferred
• Minimum 5 years of nursing leadership
• Background in Med Surg (preferred), ER, ICU, or Women’s Services
• Proven ability to lead and retain staff, foster physician relationships, and provide long-term stability
• Strong cultural fit for a community-focused, rural health environment
