Title: RN – ER

Location: Springfield, MA

Duration: 13 weeks

Schedule: Night 3x12 hours

Hourly Blended Pay Rate: $65.00 – $68.00

Certifications Required

BLS – Basic Life Support (mandatory)

ACLS – Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (mandatory)

TNCC – Trauma Nursing Core Course (required for some assignments or preferred)

Experience Required

Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) or ICU nursing experience post-orientation

Experience managing mixed acuity patients including trauma, behavioral health, and critical care

Strong background in high-volume, fast-paced urban hospital settings preferred

Skills:

Strong knowledge of nursing theory & practice

Ability to plan, evaluate, and coordinate care

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Basic computer proficiency

Culturally competent care

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess, triage, and manage emergency and trauma patients

Provide care for mixed-acuity cases: behavioral health, critical care, boarding patients

Administer medications, IVs, and emergency treatments

Assist in code situations and emergency procedures

Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams

Prioritize care in a fast-paced, high-volume ED setting

Document care accurately in EHR

Adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards

Work night shifts, including weekends (Friday/Sunday)

Float within 100–118 bed emergency units as needed
