Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering safe, high-quality patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN provides direct patient care, guides patient/family education, and supports other nursing personnel while maintaining professional standards of care.

• Deliver direct patient care within the scope of nursing practice.
• Utilize the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to ensure safe and effective patient care.
• Monitor and assess patients’ clinical conditions, including vital signs, cardiac monitoring, and response to treatments.
• Communicate effectively with physicians regarding changes in patient conditions, diagnostic results, and symptomatology.
• Respond promptly and accurately to changes in patient condition and treatment response.
• Provide guidance and supervision to other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care.
• Educate patients and their families regarding health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care strategies.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and clinical observations.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
  
  

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• Medical-Surgical Nurse-Board Certified (RN-BC) or similar certification; preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Resurrection Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $35.35 to $53.58. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
