Position Description

About the Role: We’re seeking a highly motivated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Occupational Health team in Indianapolis, IN. This is a permanent salaried position focused on employee health, workplace safety, and injury management. You’ll play a key role in onsite clinical care, regulatory compliance, and wellness initiatives—directly impacting the health and productivity of our workforce.

Location & Travel

  • Primary location: Indianapolis, IN
  • Quarterly travel to: West Street (Indy), Kokomo, Muncie, Jeffersonville, and Terre Haute

Type: Permanent / Salaried

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–3:00 PM

  • On-call required for after-hours injury management

Total Annual Compensation: $78,000 – $105,000 (includes base salary + quarterly bonuses)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Treat onsite injuries and coordinate referrals as needed
  • Manage injury cases and support return-to-work plans
  • Conduct medical surveillance (audiograms, spirometry, vision, lead testing)
  • Administer drug/alcohol testing per company policy
  • Participate in ergonomic and job hazard assessments
  • Lead First Aid, CPR/AED, and OSHA-required health trainings
  • Support Workers’ Comp and FMLA processes
  • Maintain HIPAA-compliant records
  • Oversee clinic operations, including supplies and budget
  • Drive employee wellness initiatives to improve health outcomes
  • Partner with Safety Coordinators to reduce workplace risks

Required Qualifications:

  • Active RN license in good standing
  • Active BLS certification (must include hands-on course, e.g., American Red Cross)
  • At least 2 years of RN experience in one or more of the following areas: Occupational Health, Primary Care, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Urgent Care, Emergency Room (ER/ED), or Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base Salary + Quarterly Bonuses
  • Total compensation ranges from $78,000 to $105,000 depending on performance
  • Average quarterly bonus = 20% of quarterly earnings, with potential to earn up to 40%
