HealthCare Recruiters International (HCRI) is seeking a full-time School Nurse (RN, BSN) to support a private therapeutic school classroom of 8 students (ages 5–7) with moderate medical needs. Ideal for a nurse who values student connection, classroom integration, and a collaborative, team-based setting.

School Nurse Responsibilities:

• Provide daily care and medication administration to 8 students in a SPED classroom
• Perform oropharyngeal suctioning and respond to minor injuries or emergent health needs
• Engage with students throughout the school day as a consistent clinical presence
• Join all field trips and outings as part of the student care team
• Collaborate with two Special Education Teachers, a TA, BCBA, RBT, PT, and Paraprofessional
• Communicate with families and maintain documentation and compliance
• Access real-time clinical support from an on-call Medical Director
• Receive customized training based on areas of interest

School Nurse Requirements:

• Active California RN license (required)
• 1+ years of pediatric or school nursing experience with ASD population (required)
• BSN preferred
• CPR and PALS certification (or willing to obtain)
• Comfortable with toileting and classroom-based support

Compensation & Benefits:

• $125,000–$140,000/year DOE
• 6 weeks PTO
