What We Offer
The LPN assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and in coordination with the Telemedicine care team. You will provide direct bedside care, monitor patients with the support of virtual nursing technology, and assist with patient education and recovery. Reports to the Director of the assigned department.

The LPN assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and in coordination with the Telemedicine care team. You will provide direct bedside care, monitor patients with the support of virtual nursing technology, and assist with patient education and recovery. Reports to the Director of the assigned department.
Key Responsibilities
- Collects and records patient data both in-person and via telemedicine monitoring systems.
- Provides compassionate, patient-centered care following the plan of care under RN direction.
- Recognizes and communicates changes in patient condition promptly to the onsite and virtual care teams.
- Assists with patient and family education, including the use of telemedicine tools.
- Documents care and patient responses accurately and timely.
- Administers medications and IV fluids safely, according to policy.
- Functions effectively in emergency situations, following established protocols.
- Promotes patient rights, safety, confidentiality, and infection control.
- Demonstrates professional behavior, accountability, and teamwork.
- Supports Arnot Health’s values of compassion, respect, integrity, and service.
- Graduate of a Practical Nursing Program registered by the New York State Education Department or another state licensing authority.
- BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
- ACLS certification required for critical care units.
- Frequent standing, lifting, moving, and assisting patients of varying sizes.
- Some reaching and stooping.
- Appreciable physical effort required.
