Job Requirements

• Experience Required:
• 2–3 years of Level I or II Trauma OR experience (hard stop)
• DaVinci Robotics experience required (DaVinci Xi and DV5)
• 3 years of OR circulating experience in acute care preferred
• Must be able to independently circulate major cases across multiple specialties
• No first-time travelers
• Certifications Required:
• BLS (Required)
• ACLS, PALS (Strongly Preferred)
• Travel Experience: Required
• On-Call Requirement: Yes, up to four 8-hour shifts per 4-week cycle
• Weekend Requirement: Yes (weekend shifts 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM + one weekday)
• Floating: Not required
• Locals Accepted: No
• Pending License Accepted: Yes (must be submitted to the board)
• RTO Policy: Case-by-case basis; must be submitted with application

• Robotics:
• DaVinci Xi and DV5
• Robotic procedures in colorectal, gynecologic, urologic, and gastrointestinal surgeries
• Orthopedics:
• Total joint replacements
• Open/closed fracture reductions
• Neurosurgery:
• Craniotomies, spinal fusions, VP shunt insertions
• General/Trauma Surgery:
• Appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernia repairs, Whipple procedures
• Vascular Surgery:
• Endovascular aneurysm repair, carotid endarterectomy, fem-pop bypass
• Gynecology/Urology:
• Hysterectomies, D&Es (therapeutic abortions), prostatectomies
• ENT/Plastics/Ophthalmology:
• Tonsillectomy, mastoidectomy, breast augmentation, cataract extraction
• Pediatrics:
• Pediatric general and ENT procedures
• Endoscopy:
• EGD, PEG tube placement

• Circulating major cases independently
• Specimen handling and labeling
• Infection control and universal protocol adherence
• Conscious sedation monitoring
• Administration of blood and blood products
• Radiation and laser safety
