Job Title: Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ER)

Assignment Type: Contract (13 weeks)

Shift: Nights | 3x12 (7:00 PM – 7:15 AM)

Start Date: October 27, 2025

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our team on a 13-week contract. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced ER environment, working with both adult and pediatric populations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care across adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics in a 64-bed Emergency Department.
• Perform triage, assessment, and management of patients in critical/emergent situations.
• Administer and monitor IV therapy, vasopressors, CPAP/BiPAP, and ventilated patients.
• Manage central and arterial lines, cardiac monitoring, and emergency response interventions.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license (state-specific eligibility required).
• Minimum 1.5 years of ER experience.
• Trauma Level II experience required; Trauma Level I experience preferred.
• Experience caring for both adult and pediatric patients.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS required (Stroke CEUs and Trauma CEUs preferred).
• Strong skills in triage, cardiac dysrhythmia management, and emergency interventions.
• Teaching hospital experience preferred.

Additional Details:

• Orientation: 2 shifts provided.
• Weekend coverage: Every other weekend required.
• Dedicated ER role (no floating to other units).
• PCT/Tech support available.
