RN – Emergency Room | Travel Assignment

Location: Jersey City Medical Center, 355 Grand St, Jersey City, NJ 07302

Facility Overview

• Facility Type: Level II Trauma Center (Level I experience preferred)
• Unit: Emergency Department – 64 beds
• Float Policy: No floating to other units
• Orientation: 2 shifts (16 hours, non-billable)
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Block Scheduling: Not permitted
• Auto Offer: Yes
  
  

Requirements

• Experience:
• Minimum 1.5 years acute care experience
• Experience with both adult and pediatric patients
• First-time travelers accepted
• Licensure & Certifications (must be in-hand):
• Active NJ RN license
• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
• PALS (AHA)
• Stroke CEUs
• Trauma CEUs
  

Skills & Procedures

Includes but not limited to:

• Emergency Response: Dysrhythmia management, triage
• Respiratory: CPAP/BiPAP, ventilator care
• Lines & Meds: IV therapy, central line care, IV vasopressors
• Work Settings: Level I & II trauma centers, cardiac monitoring
