RN – Medical/Surgical | Travel Assignment

Location: St. Catherine Hospital – Dodge City

⏳ Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: 3x12 Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 36 hours/week

Dress Code: Not specified

Transportation: Must have own vehicle

Unit & Role Details

• Unit: Medical/Surgical
• Float Requirement: May float to any CommonSpirit location within 60 miles or designated float zone; may include duties outside original job scope
  
  

Responsibilities

• Full-spectrum Med/Surg nursing care including:
• Patient assessment (physical, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual)
• Care planning and implementation
• Medication administration, wound care, IVs, catheterization
• Patient/family education
• Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
• Delegation per state board and hospital policy
• Participation in quality improvement and evidence-based practice
• Mentoring/precepting new staff or students
• Maintaining professional development and records
  

Requirements

• Experience: 1+ year preferred
• Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (required); BSN (preferred)
• Licensure: Active RN license in KS or Compact state
• Certifications (must be in-hand):
• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
