RN – Stepdown | Travel Assignment

Unit Overview

• Specialty: Stepdown
• Ratios: 1:4–6
• Float Requirement: Yes – to all adult acute care units
• Weekend Requirement: 3 weekends per 4-week schedule
• Holiday Coverage: Must be available for 2 of 3 major holidays (including day before and after)
• Locals Accepted: Yes (same pay; one contract only)
• Orientation: Not specified
• Guaranteed Hours:
• 36 hrs/week for 3x12s
• 48 hrs/week for 4x12s
• 40 hrs/week for 8 or 10-hour shifts
  

Requirements

• Experience:
• Minimum 2 years Stepdown experience
• Travel experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• Dysrhythmia interpretation & management required
• Licensure & Certifications (must be in-hand):
• Active MI RN license
• BLS (AHA)
• Preferred Certifications:
• ACLS
• CPI
• NIHSS
• Preferred Skills:
• Ventilator management
• Conscious sedation
• Charting System: Epic (required)
