Job Title: RN – Cardiac Cath Lab

Location: New York, NY 10016

Contract Duration: 13 weeks (High possibility of extension)

Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM

Pay Rate: $80 – $84/hr

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join a dynamic Cardiac Catheterization Lab team in a high-acuity acute care setting. This is a great opportunity to contribute to life-saving cardiac procedures and work alongside top-tier medical professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Scrub and circulate during cardiac catheterization procedures
• Monitor patients before, during, and after diagnostic/interventional cardiac procedures
• Administer medications, including conscious sedation
• Perform IV insertions and phlebotomy as needed
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care throughout Cath Lab procedures
• Assist in emergency situations, including Code Blues
• Collaborate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary teams

Required Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted New York State RN License
• Current AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in both Critical Care and Cardiac Cath Lab
• Experience in scrub and circulate roles (required)
• Proficient in IV insertion, phlebotomy, and administering conscious sedation
• Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills
