Schedule and Compensation

• Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. No nights, weekends, or holidays.
• Compensation: $40–$45 per hour, candidates with more experience considered for up to $47 per hour.

Position Summary

We are seeking experienced and dedicated Sedation Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team across multiple Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) locations in Athens and rotate l to Rome and Dalton when required.

This is a key role focused on conscious sedation for low-acuity pain management procedures. The ideal candidate is a flexible, collaborative, and team-oriented professional who aligns with our mission of providing advanced, interventional pain care.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Monitoring: Continuously monitor patient vital signs, level of consciousness, and overall status during pre-, intra-, and post-procedure phases of conscious sedation.
• Medication Administration: Administer moderate sedation medications under the direct supervision of the physician, following established protocols.
• Procedural Support: Assist physicians with a wide range of minimally invasive, outpatient interventional pain procedures, such as nerve blocks, spinal cord stimulator implants, and more.
• Pre- and Post-Procedure Care: Prepare patients for procedures, ensure all safety protocols and consent forms are complete, and provide attentive post-procedure care to ensure a safe and smooth recovery.
• Safety and Emergency Response: Maintain all monitoring and emergency equipment and respond appropriately to any signs of distress or complications.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with physicians and other ASC team members to ensure a seamless and high-quality patient experience.
• Location Flexibility: Be willing to work across multiple nearby ASC locations as scheduling needs dictate.

Qualifications

• Education and License: A valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia,
• Certifications: Active Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
• Experience:
• Prior experience with conscious sedation in an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC), outpatient, or other procedural setting is highly preferred.
• Comfort with interventional pain management and a commitment to opioid-sparing treatments are essential.
• Skills:
• Demonstrated ability to function effectively in a fast-paced procedural environment.
• Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to act quickly and calmly in emergency situations.
• Excellent communication and a collaborative, patient-centered approach.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel between local clinic locations.
