A per diem Registered Nurse (RN) opportunity is available to provide essential health services in a K12 school setting located in Monroe, NY. This role involves working as a substitute school nurse throughout the school year (CSY), ensuring the health and safety of students by managing routine medical needs and responding to health-related concerns.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Providing health assessments and care in the schools health room
• Administering diabetic care and insulin management as needed
• Assisting with toileting and other personal care tasks for students
• Collaborating with school staff to implement health plans and promote student well-being
• Maintaining accurate health records and complying with health and safety regulations
  
  

Qualified Candidates Should Meet The Following Criteria

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of New York
• Experience working as an RN in school or pediatric settings preferred
• Comfortable providing diabetic care and personal assistance to students
• Ability to work independently and manage health-related emergencies
