A healthcare professional with expertise in school nursing is needed to provide comprehensive nursing care for students at a middle school in Saint Paul, MN. This role is a contractual leave replacement, offering an opportunity to support student health and well-being during an extended absence.

Responsibilities Include

• Administering first aid and managing acute and chronic illnesses
• Conducting health assessments and screenings
• Collaborating with school staff and parents to support individualized health plans
• Providing health education and counseling to students
• Maintaining accurate health records and complying with regulations
• Responding to emergency situations and coordinating with healthcare providers as needed
  
  

Qualifications

• Valid RN license with current registration in the state of Minnesota
• Certification or experience in school nursing preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, families, and school personnel
• Ability to handle sensitive health information confidentially
