Job Summary
As the Nursing Excellence Program Manager, you guide nursing practices. You work to achieve awards like Magnet or Pathway to Excellence. Knowledge of award requirements is essential. You assess readiness and prepare the organization.
Essential Functions of the Role
Develop and maintain different processes and systems needed to obtain Magnet or Pathway to Excellence title.
Perform tasks, such as assessments, to prepare for Nursing Excellence award; act as liaison between CNO and managers.
Be responsible for creating and carrying out shared decision-making structures and initiatives to enhance the quality through clinical councils.
Prepare for Magnet or Pathway to Excellence application submission, collect data, and manage events during visits or surveys.
Help with development, benchmarks, and safety monitoring for nurses. Work with other hospitals on nursing excellence.

Qualifications
Hold a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
Possess at least 3 years of relevant experience in the field.
Have a valid and current registration as a Registered Nurse License.
