Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as an Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) for Acute Care Night Shift. In this leadership role, the ANM provides support to the Nurse Manager, oversees operations across med-surg, telemetry, and critical care units, and ensures high-quality patient care. This role offers opportunities to develop progressive nursing management skills through mentoring, leadership experience, and hands-on operational involvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Nurse Manager in leadership and oversight of multiple units during night shift.
• Coordinate with House Supervisor and staff on night shift priorities.
• Serve as a mentor and resource for nursing staff, fostering professional growth.
• Participate in staff recruitment, retention, coaching, and performance evaluations.
• Monitor clinical and operational outcomes, ensuring compliance with policies, regulations, and standards.
• Promote staff competency, evidence-based practice, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient care delivery.
• Assist with budget development, resource management, and performance improvement projects.
• Uphold professional nursing standards and ethical practices in all activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing
• Active RN license in Georgia (Single-State or Multi-State Compact)
• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience
• BLS Certification (required)
• National certification in nursing administration preferred
