Compensation / Benefits
- $25.47-$42.03/hr based on previous work experience
- Evening differential $2.50
- Night differential $3.00
- Weekend differential $3.00

Our center is staffed by a dedicated team of registered nurses, each one specially trained in intravenous medicine. We offer a wide range of infusion treatments tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient, including:
- Infusion of blood and blood products
- Iron infusion
- Intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG)
- IV fluid administration
- Injections
- Chemotherapy
- Peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC)
- Antibiotics
- Hydration
- Biologicals
- Reclast
- Solumedrol
Responsibilities:
Job Summary
- Assessment/reassessment - Systematically assesses / reassesses the health care needs of individuals; appropriate for specific age groups and patient conditions. Involves patient, family and other healthcare providers as appropriate.
- Nursing Diagnosis and Outcomes - Analyzes assessment to determine nursing diagnosis and expected outcomes, involving patient, family and other healthcare providers as appropriate.
- Implementation and Coordination of Care - Provides nursing care through interventions to achieve goals and needs using professional judgement guided by current practice standards, rules, regulations and policy.
- Evaluation and Discharge - Evaluates patient outcomes by utilizing the critical thinking process and evidence based knowledge to recognize problems, evaluate facts and reach sound conclusions.
- Takes responsibility for continued professional growth and development.
- Chemotherapy Infusion Specific
- Maintains professional working relationship with physicians to facilitate excellent patient care.
- Assists in the maintenance of logs (patient/medication fridge, crash cart).
Qualifications:
Education
- Diploma or Associate’s degree (ADN) required, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), or Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
- Must take and pass ONS chemotherapy and biotherapy course for chemo certification within 30 days.
Experience
- Previous experience in acute care setting including IV insertion and infusion required.
- Previous chemo therapy experience preferred.
(Above requirements can be met by the equivalent combination of education and experience).
Licensure/Certification/Registration/Professional Designation ETC
- Current Oklahoma Registered Nurse license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training or retraining is required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of employment.
- Complete basic chemotherapy certification within 30 days of hire and maintains through employment.
- Completes and maintains advanced chemotherapy certification within 3 months of hire.
