Are you currently enrolled in nursing school, or are you in the process of completing prerequisites to pursue a nursing career? Join our team as a PRN Nurse Extern or Nursing Assistant! This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a supportive environment while enhancing your clinical skills.

PRN; Shift Varies 

The Nurse Extern performs designated tasks in the provision of age-appropriate care for patients under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. 

Requirements:

• Must be a junior or senior level student currently enrolled in an accredited Associate Degree in Nursing or BSN program, or higher. 

• Recommendation of instructors and verification of competencies required. 

• Current GPA 2.5 or higher.

• Must have positive attitude, good organizational, customer service and critical thinking skills.

The Nursing Assistant performs designated tasks in the provision of age-appropriate care for patients under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).

• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certified Nursing License (CNA) preferred.

• Six months experience in a hospital or long-term care facility preferred. ​
