• Utilize the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation) to provide evidence-based care.
• Ensure that care is patient-centered, culturally sensitive, and appropriate to diverse patient populations.
• Partner with patients and their families, keeping them informed and involved in the care plan.
• Maintain clinical practice standards and always strive for optimal patient outcomes.

Teamwork and Collaboration:

• Coordinate patient care delivery with the interdisciplinary team, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
• Foster a respectful, inclusive, and collaborative clinical environment.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives to promote safe, quality care.

Professional Development and Initiative:

• Complete all mandatory professional education and competency assessments.
• Serve as a mentor or preceptor for other staff members and nurses, promoting a qualified workforce and healthy work environment.

Evidence-Based Practice and Research:

• Participate in evidence-based practices and research to continuously improve patient care.
• Uphold policies and clinical competencies in line with healthcare regulations and safety standards.
• Contribute to the data collection process, support clinical inquiries, and integrate new evidence into practice.

Resources and Support:

• Plan and manage patient care effectively across the care continuum.
• Collaborate in the development of care protocols to improve outcomes such as reduced readmission rates.
• Ensure efficient and effective use of resources, including materials and staff.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Required: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing.

Experience:

• Required: Minimum of 2 years RN experience in a clinical setting, preferably in the Emergency Department.

Licenses and Certifications:

Required: Registered Nurse (RN) license (Single State or Multi-state Compact).

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.

Preferred:Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
