Where compassion meets purpose.Spectrum Healthcare Resources is seeking dedicated RNs for a potential opening in the Extended Care Unit at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston, TX.

If you're passionate about long-term care and want to make a real impact on the lives of aging veterans, this is the opportunity for you.

• Provide nursing care in an extended care setting to chronically ill or aging veterans

• Assist with ADLs, mobility, medication administration, and supportive therapies

• Participate in comprehensive care planning with interdisciplinary teams

• Ensure safety, comfort, and dignity in every patient interaction

• Participate in weekend rotation (one weekend per month)

• Current, unrestricted RN license in any U.S. state

• Minimum of 1 year of Critical Care Nursing experience within the last 5 years.

• Current ACLS certification (AHA approved) – experience in SICU, IMCU, CCU, ICU, Stepdown, or ER preferred

• Current BLS certification (AHA approved)

• Geriatric, med-surg, hospice, or long-term care experience a plus
