Deliver life-changing care to those who served our nation.Spectrum Healthcare Resources is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a potential opportunity in the Spinal Cord Injury Unit at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston, TX.

This role offers a meaningful, mission-focused environment with a collaborative care team and the unique privilege of serving our nation’s veterans.

• Provide advanced nursing care to veterans with spinal cord injuries and neurorehabilitation needs

• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to manage individualized care plans

• Monitor patient progress, administer treatments, and educate patients and families

• Support clinical operations through detailed documentation and patient advocacy

• Work one weekend per month as part of a shared schedule rotation

• Current, unrestricted RN license in any U.S. state

• Minimum of 1 year of Critical Care Nursing experience within the last 5 years.

• Current ACLS certification (AHA approved) – applicable to SICU, IMCU, CCU, ICU, Stepdown, or ER

• Current BLS certification (AHA approved)

• Strong communication, critical thinking, and collaboration skills

• Work in a federal clinical setting serving a deserving veteran population
