Position Description

Fixed-Term Instructor of Nursing - Northwest College, Powell WY

Anticipated Start Date 01/08/2026

Fixed Term salary is $32,423 Spring Semester (FY 2026)

Fully-benefited

Responsible for teaching courses in nursing and other courses or duties that may be assigned by Northwest College.  Responsible for supervising Allied Health or Nursing students in lab and clinical experiences. 
Position continuation is contingent upon Wyoming Investment in Nursing (WyIN) funding.

Assignment is for the Spring semester 2026 with opportunity for the position to continue in 2026-2027 academic year

Master’s degree in nursing from a regionally accredited college or university· Current unencumbered registered nurse licensure in the State of Wyoming or privilege to practice through nurse compact agreement licensure status.· Successfully completed ten clock hours of educational preparation in principles of teaching, learning, and evaluation of performance or be willing to do this within one year of hire.

Other Requirements:· Current American Heart healthcare Provider CPR Certification
· Able to provide documentation for current immunizations: Influenza, TB skin test, Hepatitis B, MMR/Rubeola and Rubella Titer, Tetanus, and Varicella vaccination or titer.
