Description
The Quality Assurance Nurse assists with the data collection, report preparation and review of the quality and effectiveness of patient care provided by the Emergency Department staff. This RN also consistently provides discharge phone calls to discharged ED patients to facilitate the follow up and continuity of care in conjunction with the Quality Assurance Supervisor, management Team, physicians and staff. Estimated salary range for this position is depending on experience.

Qualifications
Degrees:
- Bachelors.
- Registered Nurse.
- Bachelors degree in Nursing - BSN.
- Experience: 3 years of clinical nursing.
- Good organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of evidence-based guidelines and standards of care.
- Knowledge in navigating electronic medical record and other computer applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Life Support Certificate (BLS, NRP, PALS, ACLS) as per department standard.
