Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:15 am to 5:00 pm

HOW YOU'LL WORK: You’ll complete clinical training for all new hire field staff. You will work with the training team to ensure delivery of quality training. You’ll ensure the COP for the Skilled Home Aide is met by providing the required competency evaluation at hire and at any time deemed necessary by the agency, as well provides training of home health aides when new education is needed and supervision of home health aides during the supervised practical portion of the trainings.

Major Areas Of Responsibility

Education/Training: Ensure proper training and documentation techniques are taught to staff that follow and fulfill CMS guidelines. Provide training of home health aides and the supervision of home health aides during the supervised practical portion of the trainings.

Patient Care: Work in the field with patients and staff as needed.

Minimize Patient Risk: Ensure quality and safe delivery of home health services.

Oversight: Monitor field nurse activities regarding execution of OASIS, ICD9 coding, etc.

Collaboration: Work with Training Team to deliver complete initial and recurrent clinical training. Collaborate with Training Manager regarding new initiatives. Work with the Quality Team to improve patient outcomes.

Training Materials: Develop tools and learning aides for field staff and clinical training for annual competencies. Work with Training Manager to develop clinical care documents, disease management processes and clinical policies.

Policies: Review clinical documentation and maintain current knowledge of all Medicare/ Federal/ Insurance / Company and Hospital guidelines, policies and protocol.

Requirements

Current RN license in the state of employment

Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience, at least one (1) year must be in the provision of home health care.

Previous Clinical Training Experience Preferred.

Capable of all physical demands
