Staff Nurse – Full Time - Mobile Medical Unit- Mother/Baby Bus –Ambulatory Care Network/Weill Cornell

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital’s Division of Community and Population Health programs work in partnership with community-based organizations and healthcare teams to advance health equity, empowering patients and community members across New York City and Westchester County.

The Mother and Baby Bus is a mobile health unit, funded through the March of Dimes, aiming to be a bridge care for family planning, pregnancy, post-partum and newborn care for women and birthing persons not connected to healthcare, especially those that are undocumented and experiencing homelessness.

Use your nursing expertise and passion for educating and caring for patients, empowering them to stay healthy. You will work with a dynamic team to optimize the patient’s health and wellness. Here, nursing requires an unwavering commitment to excellence and a constant spirit of professionalism.

This is a full-time day position that is grant funded position. Hours and days will be variable depending on events scheduled in the community.

Preferred Criteria

  • Primary care – OB/GYN & Postpartum Experience
  • Board Certification in a Clinical Specialty
  • Bilingual - English/Spanish

Required Criteria

  • At least one (1) year RN experience in OB/GYN, Postpartum, an acute care setting
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
  • Current New York State RN license
  • BLS certification through the AHA

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.

Salary Range

$128,149-$146,972/Annual
