Registered Nurse - Pediatric and Infant Special Care Unit - Night Shift
Position Highlights
- Position: Per Diem, Registered Nurse for Pediatric and Infant Special Care Units
- Location: Evanston and Highland Park Hospitals
- Full Time/Part Time: Per Diem
- Hours: Night shift 2300-0730 and 1900-0730; weekend and holiday requirements per level agreement
- Per Diem Commitment Level: Per Diem Level 1: 32-72 hrs. or Per Diem Level 2: 73-110 hrs. or Per Diem Level 3: 111-144 hrs./ per 6-week schedule
- Required Travel: Evanston and Highland Park
- Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for Pediatric and ISCU patients
- Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care
- Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care
- Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care
- Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience
- License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required
- Education: Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred
- Certification: BLS/ ACLS/PALS / NRP Certification for the Healthcare Provider required. (AHA)
- Experience: A minimum two years of recent acute care clinical experience in Pediatrics and Levell III Infant Special Care required
- Unique or Preferred Skills: Pediatric and Level III Infant Special Care
