Position: Travel RN – ED Holding / CICU Level Holds

Unit Details

• Assignment: Traveler will be contracted to the ED unit, specifically caring for inpatient/CICU-level holds
• Patient Population: Adults with medical, surgical, trauma, oncology, and orthopedic overflow
• Common Diagnoses:
• Chest pain, syncope, heart failure, sepsis, overdose, GI bleed, COPD, pneumonia
• Post-cath with stent (no CABG), ICD/pacer insertions, cardioversions
• Procedures & Drips:
• Titration of Lasix, Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitroglycerin, Integrillin, Labetalol, Dopamine, Dobutamine
• Equipment Used:
• Bipap, Cpap, Vapotherm
• Alaris pumps
• Phillips monitoring system
  

Requirements

• Experience:
• Minimum 2 years required
• Must have strong PCU background within the last year
• ED experience preferred but not required
• Certifications:
• BLS, ACLS
• EKG test required on arrival
• First-Time Travelers: Accepted only if they meet experience and EPIC proficiency requirements
