Pay Range:$45.00 - $55.00 per hour
Rush salaries are determined by many factors including, but not limited to, education, job-related experience and skills, as well as internal equity and industry specific market data. The pay range for each role reflects Rush’s anticipated wage or salary reasonably expected to be offered for the position. Offers may vary depending on the circumstances of each case.
This role is located in Newark, New Jersey.
This role will involve providing nursing care in a worksite-based primary care clinic for foodservice workers in Newark, New Jersey. Services provided will include the following: urgent care, health screenings, health education and promotion, and referrals to affordable community based health care centers. The faculty member of the College of Nursing contributes to the mission of the college by integrating the roles of teacher, researcher/scholar/clinician, and leader. The details of the faculty’s workload distribution will be negotiated with the Chairperson, based on the needs of the College of Nursing, as well as on candidate’s expertise and interest.

Job Qualifications
Nurse faculty of a professional nursing program shall have:
- A graduate degree in Nursing
- Experience in clinical specialty
- Current licensure in the State of Illinois. If working remotely, current RN licensure in home state of residence is required.

- Demonstrates a depth and breadth of clinical knowledge that can be communicated to students in a variety of learning environments.

- Integrates state of the science literature into teaching activities. .

- Supports the college, university and medical center wide interdisciplinary programs.
- Actively engages in clinical practice with demonstrated clinical excellence.
- Uses research findings to update clinical practice.
- identifies researchable problems.
- Contributes to established research projects.
- Submits materials (articles, media, etc.) for peer-review.
- Presents evidence based and/or scholarly papers locally and regionally.
- Supports and facilitates the goals of Rush University, the college, and medical center.
- Participates on departmental, and college committees and/or task forces.
- Active member of local professional organizations.
- Shares expertise with community organizations.
