Village Green Health and Rehabilitation is currently seeking a Wound Care Nurse to join our team of dedicated health care professionals.

Wound Care Nurse must have an unrestricted RN license.

Wound Care Nurse Duties:

Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Nursing

Wound Care Nurse will plan, coordinate, provide and manage nursing care, services, and health education to our residents.

Positions require patience, compassion, and a desire to care for the residents in a gentle and empathetic manner.

Wound Care Nurse Responsibilities:

The Wound Care Nurse establishes standards of care and clinical competencies.

Assess, document, and rack "present on admission" wound issues.

Establishes training programs to ensure competence.

Coordinates, negotiate, procure and manage skin and ostomy care.

Targets patients with complex wounds, and skin integrity issues external to organization.

Participates in performance improvement initiatives related to skin and ostomy care.

Completes wound treatments in coordination of care with the Wound NP.

Oversees the CNA2.

Participates in the nurse admin on-call rotation.
