This role is all about ensuring patients receive seamless, safe, and supportive care as they recover from anesthesia. What You’ll Do

• Provide comprehensive patient care as they recover from general anesthesia or sedation.
• Implement physician orders and continually evaluate patients’ conditions.
• Maintain patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms, including conscious sedation and sterile technique.
• Collaborate with patients and families to prepare for a safe discharge.

Required Skills:

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to stay organized and take initiative in a fast-paced setting.
• Thorough knowledge of perioperative processes, including surgical procedures and anesthesia implications.
• Current patient assessment and nursing care skills.
• Telemetry experience is a must.
  
  

Required Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Active RN license in the state of Texas.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of PACU or ICU nursing experience.
