Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Mt. Kisco, NY

Schedule: Full-time, 5 days/week

Rate: $50.00 per hour

Terms: Temp to Perm (3 months on contract)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our outpatient Procedure Suite team. This role is critical in ensuring safe, efficient, and compassionate care for patients undergoing gastroenterological procedures. The RN will be responsible for both pre-procedure and post-procedure patient care, with intraoperative support duties as well.

Pre-Procedure Duties:

• Review and assess patient appropriateness for procedures within our Quad A-accredited outpatient suite.
• Advise patients on medication holds and pre-procedure testing requirements.
• Obtain procedural and anesthesia consents.
• Ensure safe, accurate, and timely admission of patients into the procedure suite.

Intraoperative Duties:

• Assist gastroenterologist during procedures.
• Collect and document specimens accurately.
• Monitor patient status and respond to intraoperative needs.

Post-Procedure Duties:

• Safely recover patients and assess readiness for discharge.
• Provide clear post-procedure instructions.
• Address questions from patients and their escorts regarding recovery and follow-up care.

Additional Notes:

• Temporary staff will not be trained to work in the procedure room unless they transition to permanent employment. Temps will be assigned to Pre-op and PACU areas only.

Required Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the state of New York.
• Proven experience in a clinical setting, preferably in outpatient or procedural care.
