Operating Room Registered Nurse – Travel Assignment

Location: Batesville, Arkansas

Duration: 13 weeks

About the Role Our client is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our surgical team on a travel assignment. This role is ideal for a skilled clinician who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal surgical outcomes and provide both physical and emotional support to patients across the lifespan.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver perioperative nursing care using the nursing process and evidence-based practices
• Circulate across multiple specialties including GYN, ENT, Urology, Orthopedics, General Surgery, and Vascular
• Collaborate with physicians and allied health professionals to coordinate patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation using MediTech EMR
• Provide compassionate support to patients, families, and visitors
• Uphold professional standards and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence

Shift Details

• Shift Type: Days
• Shift Times: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Hours/Day: 12
• 36-hour weekly guarantee
• Weekend Requirements: On-call coverage
• On-call Requirements: 3–4 shifts per month, including one 24-hour weekend shift

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room experience
• Proficient in circulating across listed specialties
• Experience with MediTech EMR
• Demonstrated ability to care for Pediatric through Geriatric populations
• Active RN license in Arkansas or Compact State
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS (AHA)

Additional Requirements

• Candidates must reside at least 90 miles outside of Batesville, Arkansas
• Applicants within 90–150 miles may be considered but are not guaranteed selection
