Work hours: PRN, Rotating Shift (3 shifts/6 week schedule period, 1 weekend, 1 major and 1 minor holiday)

We specialize in women’s services, perioperative services, heart and vascular care, acute care/med surg, intermediate care/step-down, oncology and emergency medicine. Additional specialties include nuclear medicine, interventional radiology, respiratory therapy, and neuroscience care, including neurosurgery and stroke.
Texas Health HEB is ANCC Magnet Designated, Joint Commission-certified in Chest Pain (PHAC), a Primary Stroke Center, a Level III Trauma Center, Level II NICU and Level III for maternal care. Qualifications
- Nursing Diploma Nursing required OR
- Associate's Degree Nursing required OR
- Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred
- 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program required
- Previous cardiac or telemetry experience preferred.
- RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required AND
- BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required AND
- ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 days required AND
- CPI – Crisis Prevention Training maintained annually 90 days required AND
- NIHSS – National Institute of Health Stroke Scale Certification 30 days required
