Position Description
Registered Nurse (Site Leader)
People's Health Centers (PHC), through its mission, provides comprehensive primary healthcare, such as pediatrics, internal medicine, OB/GYN, dental, mammography, behavioral health, pharmacy, WIC, radiology, podiatry and laboratory services, to meet the health needs of the entire community. PHC provides quality health care and social services to thousands of uninsured and medically underserved people in the St. Louis community.
People's Health Centers also offers an open access clinic (no appointment necessary), client centered cluster visits, community health education, nursing, mobile van outreach, school-linked services and prevention health services.
Qualifications: Missouri RN licensure, CPR certification and a minimum of 3-5 years of clinical nursing experience and at least 2 years supervisory experience is required. Experience working in an ambulatory, practice or community health setting is strongly preferred. Qualified candidates must be capable of working in a fast-paced clinical environment, able to handle several tasks and multiple priorities. 
Excellent assessment and triage skills, strong interpersonal, customer service organizational and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Must demonstrate cultural competence working with a diverse patient population. Bilingual skills preferred.
Hours Full Time - Days Monday- Friday
Must be flexible to work one evening shift a week 11:30 am - 8:30. Health Center is open until 8:00 on Thursdays.
