Compensation

Key Responsibilities

Conduct regular health assessments for residents and develop individualized care plans.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and social workers.
Monitor and ensure compliance with OPWDD and DOH regulations regarding healthcare.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
Respond to medical emergencies and provide guidance on appropriate actions.
Participate in quality assurance activities to enhance care standards.

Qualifications

NYS RN License
Minimum 2 year of OPWDD nursing experience in developmental disabilities or similar fields required
Knowledge of OPWDD guidelines and compliance requirements is a plus.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and manage multiple responsibilities.
