How you'll contribute
A House Supervisor who excels in this role:
- Provides after-hours hospital leadership and serves as the primary resource and support for clinical staff.
- Oversees patient flow, bed placement, and staffing needs to maintain safe and effective operations.
- Assists in direct patient care as needed and ensures high-quality standards are met throughout the facility.
- Supports departmental goals and ensures compliance with clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements.
- Manages escalations, safety concerns, and service-level issues to promote a positive patient and staff experience.
- Serves as the point of contact for administrators, physicians, and other departments when leadership is not onsite.
- Accesses and reviews relevant patient information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
- Provides guidance, mentorship, and assistance with staff orientation and training.

What we're looking for
- Current RN license to practice in NC (NC or multistate compact license).
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Previous leadership, charge, or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
- Recent acute care experience within the last 3 years preferred.
Additional requirements include:
- Strong critical thinking and leadership skills.
- The ability to make sound judgments independently.
- Ability to work in a high-stress environment and respond appropriately.
- BLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred.
- Handle With Care within 4 months of hire.
