Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) is seeking a qualified Instructor of Nursing to join the Caylor School of Nursing at our Corbin campus. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced nurse who is interested in transitioning into academia and contributing to the education of future nursing professionals.

Position Summary

The Instructor of Nursing is a full-time instructional faculty member whose primary responsibility is teaching. This position supports the mission of LMU by delivering high-quality nursing education and contributing to the academic growth and success of students within the Caylor School of Nursing.

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing (required for all CSON faculty positions)

• Doctorate in Nursing encouraged

• Doctorate required for teaching in CSON graduate programs

• Current, unrestricted Tennessee nursing licensure and licensure in other states as required for teaching and/or clinical supervision

• Current Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE) certification

• Evidence of potential for effective teaching and scholarly activity
