Position Description

Remote Registered Nurse (RN) – Phone Triage | Oregon Only

Location: Remote (Must reside in Oregon)

Schedule: Monday–Friday | Four 10-hour shifts (7:30 AM – 5:30 PM)

Weekends: Optional

Pay Range: $37-$46/hour (negotiable based on experience)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Remote Registered Nurse (RN) to support patients and families through professional, compassionate phone triage services. This role focuses on delivering accurate medical guidance, patient education, and coordinating follow-up care—all from the comfort of your home after initial on-site training.

You will play a critical role in promoting excellent patient outcomes while maintaining high-quality service standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide current, accurate medical advice to patients and families via telephone in a professional and courteous manner
  • Schedule follow-up appointments as needed
  • Accurately document patient interactions in the EMR
  • Present educational topics to patients, families, and peers
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive patient information
  • Deliver exceptional patient service by addressing questions, concerns, and complaints
  • Meet or exceed ER follow-up benchmarks and assigned quality measures
  • Provide backup coverage for team members as needed
  • Attend and actively participate in remote huddles and team meetings

Required Qualifications

  • Must reside in Oregon
  • Active Oregon RN License
  • BSN or degree from an accredited nursing program
  • 3+ years of nursing experience
  • BLS/CPR certification within 30 days of employment
  • Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Pediatrics or Family Practice experience
  • PALS or PEARS certification

Training & Equipment

  • Initial on-site training and equipment pickup required at a facility (1–3 days)
  • Position becomes fully remote after training
  • All IT equipment is provided
