Position Description

The RN provides high-quality, safe, cost-effective, total nursing care to all patients. The RN assumes responsibility for overall coordination and integration of patient care based on the nursing process. The RN directs care according to established standards of safety, risk management, QI, and Infection Control, with the goal being to discharge the patient with an optimum level of care provided. Assumes responsibility for coordination and planning of patient care within the prescribed medical regime. Administers all medications safely and in a timely manner per hospital policy. Performs and fulfills all HICS (hospital incident command system) responsibilities, assignments, tasks, and roles as directed and needed by the facility in times of emergency and/or disaster. Responsible for knowing the Hospital’s emergency codes, including the purpose and appropriate action for each, and adheres to the Hospital policies and procedures for each emergency code.

Local contract pay : $70/HR

Travel gross weekly : $2,556.00

Requirements:

  • BLS, ACLS
  • Must have 2 years of Acute Care experience with a minimum one-year current experience in Telemetry

Education:

Required: Graduated from state approved school of nursing or an accredited school.

Preferred: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing

Experience:

Required: 2 years of current experience at an Acute Care facility with one year current in your specialty.

Certifications:

Required: Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy; AHA BLS, and if applicable by corporate policy for unit of hire, AHA ACLS .
