We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and strategic leader to join our healthcare organization as a Permanent Chief Nursing Executive. This is a high-level executive position that carries significant responsibility, requiring a deep understanding of the healthcare industry and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. The successful candidate will be an innovative, compassionate, and visionary leader with a proven track record in nursing leadership and healthcare management. This role requires a strong understanding of clinical practices, strategic planning, and healthcare regulations.

Responsibilities

As a Permanent Chief Nursing Executive, you will

  • Lead and manage all nursing operations across the organization, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for nursing services in alignment with the organization's mission, vision, and goals.
  • Oversee the recruitment, development, and retention of nursing staff, promoting a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and continuous learning.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards, maintaining the highest level of patient safety and care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare executives to develop and implement organization-wide policies and initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify opportunities for improvement and drive operational efficiency.
  • Serve as a role model for nursing staff, promoting a culture of professionalism, empathy, and respect.
  • Lead and participate in quality improvement initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
  • Advocate for the nursing profession, representing the organization in professional associations, conferences, and community events.

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Nursing is required.
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive nursing experience, including at least 5 years of progressive experience as a senior nurse in a medium, complex and matrix hospital/healthcare system.
  • Proven experience in leading successful turnaround efforts in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a large team.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare regulations, clinical practices, and strategic planning.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, patients, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions based on data.
  • High level of professionalism and integrity, with a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care and safety.
  • Ability to work under pressure and navigate complex, challenging situations.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
