Job Description: Registered Nurse – Cath Lab

Job Location: Urbana, Illinois

Shift Information: 9x4; 36H in a week

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 nursing care for adult patients during cardiac and vascular procedures.
• Complete assessments, develop and modify care plans, and implement nursing interventions.
• Administer moderate sedation and medications per policy.
• Monitor hemodynamics, recognize arrhythmias, and respond appropriately.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team.
• Document procedure events accurately.
• Participate in quality improvement, maintain competencies, and adapt to emergent situations.
• Work collaboratively with a small team of RNs and technologists.

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant nursing experience.

Education:

• ASN required.

Licensure/Certifications:

• Illinois RN license
• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
